Sól ek sá Premiere

“Sól ek sá”, a new piece written for Stirni ensemble was premiered in Hafnarborg in April 2019 as a part of “Hljóðön” concert series.  In “Sól ek sá” Arngerður uses 4 verses from Sólarljóð (The Song of the Sun) which was written in Iceland ca 1200. It is written in the traditional metric style of the Poetic Edda but with a content from Christian visionary poems.
