Wild Scandinavia

I have been working with the renowned film and tv composer, Biggi Hilmars, since 2022. First as an intern and then as his assistant. Now the wonderful nature series Wild Scandinavia is out, you can listen to the soundtrack on Spotify:

Umbra tours – China, France and India

Umbra went on a very successful tour to China in September where they played in Beijing, Xi’an, Longchang, Mianyang, Chengdu and Chongquing.

Upcoming is a tour to the Basque part of France and to India in January – stay tuned!

Me and violinist Una Sveinbjarnardóttir just started a new and very exciting cooperation in 2023. We call the project “Translations” and we compose and perform music for church organ and violin. We gave our first concert at the Iceland Airwaves festival in November, together with guest musicians Davíð Þór Jónsson on piano and Skúli Sverrisson bass player.

We recorded our first album in summer 2024. It will be released by Sono luminus in August 2025. We already recorded the second album which is due for release in 2026.

Choir piece premiere in Helsinki

Philomela choir commissioned a piece for SSAA. This new piece “Lullaby” will be premiered in Helsinki on the 16th of November 2024.
